Chris Sutton, a football specialist for okbet Sport, is competing against a range of other people to predict the scores of every Premier League game this season.

This coming weekend, he will be competing against the bassist for the band Editors, Russell Leetch.

The new album by Editors, titled EBM, will be released the following week. In January, they will begin a tour of the United Kingdom.

As a result of his godmother’s love for Aston Villa, Leetch has been a lifelong supporter of the club and attended his first game more than 30 years ago.

He stated to BBC Sport that his parents did not have an interest in football. That being the case, she was the one who insisted that we back Villa.

“Every present I got from her for Christmas or birthdays was something to do with Villa; it worked too, because I became obsessed with them despite the fact that all of my friends support Manchester United rather than their local team.” “Everything I got from her for Christmas or birthdays was something to do with Villa.”

“That is really how we got to the beginning of it. My first game was in 1991, and since then, Aston Villa has been on quite the roller coaster ride, going from being championship contenders to getting relegated and then back into the Premier League. My first game was in 1991.

I was present for the play-off final at Wembley when we were promoted to the Premier League in 2019, which was one of the most memorable moments of my life.

We’d had a few years of being pretty bad and just hovering above the Premier League relegation zone, so it was nice to see us win a lot of them for a change. I actually loved being in the Championship. I went to a lot of games when we were down there, and it was nice to see us win a lot of them for a change.

“Of course, it’s wonderful to be back in the Premier League, but there are still a lot of highs and lows in this season.

We had the bounce under Steven Gerrard when he took command of the team the previous season, and then all of a sudden, everyone started talking about how we could compete for one of the top six spots in the league. Unfortunately, things don’t work that way.

“The current campaign has not been an easy one. It seems as though we have purchased a lot of players who might not be precisely what we need on the pitch, and things like the Tyrone Mings saga, in which Gerrard stripped him of his captaincy, have not helped the mood at all.

“It is going to be quite intriguing to watch what unfolds over the following few weeks,” the speaker said. It seems like the supporters have turned a little bit against Gerrard, so in order to win back their support, he needs some more results and performances like the one he had against Manchester City in the previous match.

FRIDAY

In this week's Premier League picks matchup, Editors bassist and Aston Villa fan Russell Leetch faces off against Chris Sutton - OKBet Football

Aston Villa beats Southampton by a score of 1-0.
This is a tremendously important game for Aston Villa as we head into the international break. Gerrard is beginning to feel some of the strain that comes with being in charge of the team.

Even if Southampton has gotten off to a stronger start to the season than Villa has, the home crowd will still be anticipating a victory in this matchup.

I think Villa will come out on top, but it’s going to be a close race.

The forecast from Sutton is 2-1.

The forecast provided by Russell: When we played the Saints at the beginning of March, I was there to watch the game. It was my 40th birthday, and we won 4-0, which was a very lovely touch – what a birthday present that would have been! Since then, though, we have only won four more games [out of 18], which means that it is a trying moment for Gerrard, and he really needs a win today because, if we don’t win, there will be more rumors about his future with the team.

Even though it will be my first game of the season, I will be attending this one as well, and while I anticipate a close contest, I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will come out on top. 2-1
